حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي هِلَالُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ أَبُو مُعَلَّى قَالَ
أُهْدِيَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةُ طَوَائِرَ، فَأَطْعَمَ خَادِمَهُ طَائِرًا، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنَ الْغَدِ أَتَتْهُ بِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَلَمْ أَنْهَكِ أَنْ تَرْفَعِي شَيْئًا لِغَدٍ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] يَأْتِي بِرِزْقِ كُلِّ غَدٍ
Translation

✧ Three birds were given as a gift to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he fed his servant one bird. The next day, she brought it to him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: 'Did I not forbid you to set aside anything for tomorrow? For Allah, Mighty and Majestic, brings the provision of every tomorrow.'
