حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْحَمَ بِالصِّبْيَانِ، وَكَانَ لَهُ ابْنٌ مُسْتَرْضَعًا فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَدِينَةِ، وَكَانَ ظِئْرُهُ قَيْنًا فَكَانَ يَأْتِيهِ، وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ، وَقَدْ دُخِّنَ الْبَيْتُ بِمَا دُخِّنَ، فَيَشُمُّهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was most merciful to children. He had a son being suckled in a part of Madinah. His wet nurse's husband was a blacksmith. He would go to him, and we with him, while the house had been filled with smoke. He would smell him and kiss him, then return.
