✧ Indeed, Allah bestowed favor upon the people of Arafat, boasting of them to the angels, saying, “O My angels, look at My servants—disheveled and dusty—they came striking toward Me from every deep valley. I call you to witness that I have answered their supplications, interceded for their desires, granted their wrongdoers to their doers of good, and given their doers of good all that they asked of Me, except for the retaliatory claims that are between them. Then when the people depart to Muzdalifah and stand and return in desire and request to Allah, He says, ‘O My angels, My servants stood and returned in desire and request. I call you to witness that I have answered their supplications, interceded for their desires, granted their wrongdoers to their doers of good, given their doers of good all that they asked of Me, and I have taken responsibility for them regarding the retaliatory claims that are between them.’”
