حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ تَمْنَعُ الْعَبْدَ مِنْ سَخَطِ اللهِ مَا لَمْ يُؤْثِرُوا سَفْقَةَ دُنْيَاهُمْ عَلَى دِينِهِمْ، فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، قَالَ اللهُ: كَذَبْتُمْ

Translation

✧ "There is no god but God" protects the servant from God's wrath as long as they do not prefer the transaction of their worldly life over their religion. If they do that, then say, "There is no god but God," God says: "You have lied."
