✧ Mus'ab b. al-Zubayr intended to kill the 'arif of the Ansar. Anas b. Malik entered upon him and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Enjoin good treatment of the Ansar and kindness; accept from their good-doers and overlook their wrong-doers. He said: Mus'ab came down from his couch onto his carpet and pressed his skin, or his cheek, against it—or he said: he rolled on it—and said: The command of the Prophet ﷺ is upon the head and the two eyes, the command of the Prophet ﷺ is upon the head and the two eyes. So he left him.
