✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed the dawn prayer when he came from Khaybar in the darkness before dawn, then he mounted and said: Allah is greatest, Khaybar is destroyed. When we descend upon the courtyard of a people, evil is the morning of those warned. He said: They came out running through the streets, saying: Muhammad and the army. Hammad said: that is, the army. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appeared, killed their fighting men, and took their offspring captive. He said: Safiyyah belonged to Dihyah al-Kalbi, then afterward she became the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ, and he married her and made her dower her manumission. Abd al-Aziz said to Thabit: O Abu Muhammad, did you ask Anas what he gave her as dower? And he said to you: He gave her herself as dower? Thabit smiled.
