حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ تَزَوَّجَ عَلَى نَوَاةٍ - أَوْ وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ - مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ
Translation

✧ 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf married for a date-stone — or the weight of a date-stone — of gold. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: Hold a wedding feast, even if with a sheep.
