  • al-Bukhari

machine translationIt was found defective (muʿall) because more than one of the students of Ḥumayd narrated it from Ḥumayd from Anas as his own action, not raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ).

  • Dāraquṭnī

  • Taḥāwī

machine translationThey declare this weak (ḍaʿīf) and say that ʿAbd al-Wahhāb was alone in raising it to the Prophet (marfūʿ), while the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) make it a statement stopped at Anas (mawqūf).
