✧ We came to Madinah while they were shaking their hands from beneath their garments. I said, 'I will certainly look at the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' He said, 'He said the takbir until he opened the prayer, and he raised his hands until I saw his thumbs near his ears.' He said, 'Then he took his left hand with his right hand. When he bowed, he raised his hands. When he raised his head, he said, "Allah hears the one who praises Him." Then he said the takbir and raised his hands. Then he prostrated and placed his head between his hands in the position relative to his face. When he sat, he spread his feet and placed his right elbow on his right thigh, and he grasped his little finger and the one next to it, joined his thumb and middle finger, and raised the one next to it, supplicating with it.'"
