حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَرْبَعٌ لَنْ يَجِدَ رَجُلٌ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَ بِهِنَّ: أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ بَعَثَنِي بِالْحَقِّ، وَأَنَّهُ مَيِّتٌ وَمَبْعُوثٌ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْمَوْتِ، وَيُؤْمِنَ بِالْقَدَرِ كُلِّهِ

Translation

✧ Four things: no man will find the taste of faith until he believes in them: that there is no god but Allah alone with no partner, and that I am the Messenger of Allah, He sent me with the truth, and that he will die and be resurrected after death, and he believes in the divine decree, all of it.
