✧ The Obligation of Faith

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

«لَا يُؤْمِنُ الْعَبْدُ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَ بِأَرْبَعٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ بِالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَيُؤْمِنُ بِالْقَدَرِ»

✧ A servant does not believe until he believes in four things: he bears witness that there is no god but Allah and that I am the Messenger of Allah, he believes in the resurrection after death, and he believes in the divine decree.
