✧ Thabit al-Bunani from Anas

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

كُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّهُ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى لَا تُمْطِرَ السَّمَاءُ، وَلَا تُنْبِتَ الْأَرْضُ، وَحَتَّى يَكُونَ لِلْخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً الْقَيِّمُ الْوَاحِدُ، وَحَتَّى إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ لَتَمُرُّ بِالرَّجُلِ فَيَأْخُذُهَا فَيَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا، فَيَقُولُ: لَقَدْ كَانَ لِهَذِهِ مَرَّةً رَجُلٌ. ذَكَرَهُ حَمَّادٌ هَكَذَا، وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ حَمَّادٌ أَيْضًا عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، لَا يَشُكُّ. وَقَدْ قَالَ أَيْضًا: عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِيمَا أَحْسِبُ

Translation

✧ We used to say that the Hour will not come until the sky does not rain and the earth does not grow plants, until fifty women have one caretaker, and until a woman passes by a man and he seizes her and looks at her and says: This one once had a man. Hammad mentioned it this way, and Hammad also mentioned it from Thabit, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, without doubt. He also said: from Thabit, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, as I think.
