✧ Who lied about the Prophet of Allah ﷺ?

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ مُتَعَمِّدًا» قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ هَكَذَا مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ حَدَّثَنَا مَرَّةً أُخْرَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

Translation

  3. Sulaymān al-Taymī
  4. Anas b. Mālik

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire deliberately." He said: Anas narrated to us like this twice, then he narrated to us another time. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire."
