حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الدَّوْرَقِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَيْشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فِيهِ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ وَالْأَنْصَارُ، مَا مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ حَبْوَتِهِ إِلَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ، فَإِنَّهُ يَتَبَسَّمُ إِلَيْهِمَا وَيَتَبَسَّمَانِ إِلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go out to the mosque where the Muhajirun and the Ansar were. None of them would raise his head from his sitting posture except Abu Bakr and Umar, for he would smile at them and they would smile at him.
