حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَفِيهِ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ وَالْأَنْصَارُ، مَا أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ حَبْوَتِهِ إِلَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَبَسَّمُ إِلَيْهِمَا، وَيَتَبَسَّمَانِ إِلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to go out to the mosque, and in it were the Muhājirūn and the Anṣār, none of them lifting his head from his huddled posture except Abū Bakr and ʿUmar. He would smile at them, and they would smile at him.
