حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلِمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ لَا يَحْجُبُهُ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ جُنُبًا

Translation

  2. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah
  3. Ibn Abū Laylá
  4. ʿAmr b. Murrah
  5. ʿAbdullāh b. Salimah
  6. ʿAlī
  7. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ Nothing prevented him from reciting the Qur'an except that he be junub.
