✧ A man from the desert people named Zahir used to bring gifts to the Prophet ﷺ from the desert, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would equip him when he wanted to leave. The Prophet ﷺ said: Zahir is our desert, and we are his city. The Prophet ﷺ loved him, and he was an ugly man. The Prophet ﷺ came to him while he was selling his goods, and embraced him from behind while the man could not see him. He said: Let go, who is this? Then he recognized the Prophet ﷺ, and he began to press his back against the Prophet’s belly once he recognized him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to say: Who will buy this slave? The man said: O Messenger of Allah, in that case you will find me unsellable. The Prophet ﷺ said: But you are not unsellable with Allah. Or he said: With Allah you are precious.
