حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَا تَحَابَّ رَجُلَانِ فِي اللهِ قَطُّ إِلَّا كَانَ أَفْضَلُهُمَا أَشَدَّهُمَا حُبًّا لِصَاحِبِهِ

Translation

✧ No two men have ever loved each other for the sake of Allah except that the better of them was the one with stronger love for his companion.
