✧ A Persian man was a neighbor of the Prophet ﷺ, and his broth had the most pleasant smell of anything. He made some food, then invited the Prophet ﷺ, with ʿAʾishah beside him. He said: He gestured to him, “Come.” He said, “And this one with me?” indicating ʿAʾishah. He said, “No.” Then he gestured to him a second time, and the Prophet ﷺ said, “And this one with me?” He said, “No.” Then he said a third time, and the Prophet ﷺ said, indicating ʿAʾishah, “Yes.”
