حَدَّثَنَا حَوْثَرَةُ بْنُ أَشْرَسَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ:
كَانَتْ نَاقَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَضْبَاءُ لَا تُسْبَقُ، فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ بِقَعُودٍ لَهُ فَسَابَقَهَا، فَسَبَقَهَا الْأَعْرَابِيُّ، وَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: حَقٌّ عَلَى اللهِ أَلَّا يُرْفَعَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا وَضَعَهُ
Translation

✧ The she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, al-Adba, would not be outpaced. A bedouin came with a young camel of his and raced her, and the bedouin outpaced her. This was difficult for the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he said: It is incumbent upon Allah that nothing is raised in this world except that He lowers it.
