✧ What Sa'id b. al-Musayyib narrated from Abu Hurayra

حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ: نَا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: نَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:
كَانَتْ نَاقَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَضْبَاءُ لَا تُسْبَقُ فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ عَلَى قَعُودٍ فَسَبَقَهَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ لَا يَرْفَعُ شَيْئًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا وَضَعَهُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah's ﷺ she-camel al-Adba' was never outrun. Then a Bedouin came on a young camel and outran it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: It is a right upon Allah that He does not raise anything of this world except that He lowers it.
