حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:
مَا أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا كُنْتُ أَعْرِفُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ قَوْلَكُمْ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ. قَالَ: قِيلَ: الصَّلَاةُ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ ؟ قَالَ: قَدْ صَلَّيْتُمُوهَا عِنْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ [ أَ ] فَكَانَتْ تِلْكَ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ مَعَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَرَ زَمَانًا خَيْرًا لِعَامِلٍ مِنْ زَمَانِكُمْ هَذَا
Translation

✧ I do not recognize anything that I used to recognize in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ except your saying: 'There is no god but God.' He said: 'It was said: The prayer, O Abu Hamza?' He said: 'You have prayed it at sunset. Was that the prayer of the Messenger of God ﷺ? Besides, I have not seen a time better for a doer of good than this time of yours.'
