✧ He was at al-Zawra, and a vessel was brought containing water that did not cover his fingers—or he said: that did not conceal his fingers. He ordered his companions to perform ablution, and he placed his palm in the water. We saw water springing from between his fingers until the people performed ablution. We said to Anas: "How many were you that day?" He said: "Three hundred, or about three hundred."
