حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ - ﷺ

كَانَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ، وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ، وَالْهَرَمِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ

Translation

✧ He used to say: O God, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, senility, the punishment of the grave, and the trial of life and death.
