حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلِمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ فَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ، وَيَأْكُلُ مَعَنَا اللَّحْمَ، وَلَا يَحْجُبُهُ - أَوْ لَا يَحْجِزُهُ - شَيْءٌ عَنِ الْقُرْآنِ إِلَّا الْجَنَابَةُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ would come out of the privy and recite the Quran, and eat meat with us, and nothing prevented him—or held him back—from the Quran except major ritual impurity.
