حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ قَالَ:

ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ بِهِنَّ حَلَاوَةَ الْإِيمَانِ: أَنْ يَكُونَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلهِ، وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فِي الْكُفْرِ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ تُوقَدَ لَهُ نَارٌ فَيُقْذَفَ فِيهَا

Translation

✧ Three qualities, whoever has them will find thereby the sweetness of faith: that God and His Messenger are dearer to him than anything else; that he loves a person only for God's sake; and that he hates to return to disbelief as he hates to have a fire lit and be thrown into it.
