✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ wrote to Caesar inviting him to Islam, and sent his letter with Dihya al-Kalbi. The Messenger of God ﷺ ordered him to deliver it to the governor of Busra so that he would pass it on to Caesar. The governor of Busra delivered it to Caesar. When God had relieved Caesar of the armies of Persia, Caesar vowed that he would walk from Hims to Ilya' in gratitude for what God had granted him in that regard. When Caesar received the letter of the Messenger of God ﷺ, he said upon reading it: "Look for any of his people here so that we may ask them about the Messenger of God."
