حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِشَاةٍ مَيْتَةٍ قَدْ أَلْقَاهَا أَهْلُهَا فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَلدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ عَلَى أَهْلِهَا
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed by a dead sheep that its owners had thrown away, and he said: 'By Him in Whose hand is my soul, the world is more insignificant to God than this is to its owners.'
