حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ:

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ وَجَدَ فِيهِ صُورَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَصُورَةَ مَرْيَمَ، وَقَالَ: أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ قَدْ سَمِعُوا أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ، هَذَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُصَوَّرٌ فَمَا بَالُهُ يَسْتَقْسِمُ. ؟

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the House, he found in it an image of Ibrahim and an image of Maryam. He said, 'Indeed, they have heard that angels do not enter a house containing an image. This is Ibrahim depicted, so why is he practicing divination by arrows?'
