Musnad Abi Ya'la 2255

Translation

✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ on a military expedition he undertook, and that was in Ramadan. A man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ fasted and became extremely weak, and thirst nearly killed him, and his she-camel began to enter the thorny trees. The Prophet ﷺ was informed about him, so he said, "Bring him to me." He was brought, and he said, "Are you not in the path of God and with the Messenger of God? Break your fast." So he broke his fast.
