حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ، فَصَامَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِالْكَدِيدِ أَفْطَرَ، وَإِنَّمَا يُؤْخَذُ بِالْآخِرِ مِنْ فِعْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ set out on the day of the conquest and fasted until, when he was at al-Kadid, he broke his fast. The last of the Messenger of God's ﷺ actions is what is to be followed.
