حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيْمَنُ بْنُ نَابِلٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ: بِسْمِ اللهِ، التَّحِيَّاتُ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ النَّارِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to teach us the tashahhud just as he would teach us a surah from the Quran: In the name of God. All salutations, prayers, and pure words are for God. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of God and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of God. I ask God for Paradise, and I seek refuge in God from the Fire.
