حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ:
طُلِّقَتْ خَالَتِي، فَأَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَجُدَّ نَخْلَهَا، فَزَجَرَهَا رَجُلٌ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِ، فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: بَلَى فَجُدِّي ذَلِكَ، فَإِنَّكِ عَسَى أَنْ تَصَدَّقِي فَتَفْعَلِي مَعْرُوفًا

✧ My maternal aunt was divorced, and she wanted to harvest her palm trees. A man forbade her from going out to them, so she went to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: Yes, go and harvest them, for perhaps you will give charity and do good.
