حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ، فَقَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:

أَكَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ بَعْدَ وُضُوئِهِ الْأَوَّلِ، ثُمَّ أَكَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ، ثُمَّ أَكَلْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ، ثُمَّ أَكَلْتُ مَعَ عُثْمَانَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Translation

✧ I ate with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he prayed without performing a new ablution after his first ablution. Then I ate with Abu Bakr and he prayed without performing a new ablution. Then I ate with Umar and he prayed without performing a new ablution. Then I ate with Uthman and he prayed without performing a new ablution.
