حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ:

إِذَا سَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَعْتَدِلْ، وَلَا يَفْتَرِشْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ افْتِرَاشَ الْكَلْبِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Jābir
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ When one of you prostrates, let him keep his posture balanced, and not spread his forearms as a dog spreads them.
