✧ A man from the Muhajirun kicked a man from the Ansar. The Ansari said: 'O Ansar!' and the Muhajir said: 'O Muhajirun!' When the Prophet ﷺ heard that, he said: 'What is this call of Jahiliyyah?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, a man from the Muhajirun kicked a man from the Ansar.' He said: 'Leave it, for it is stinking.' Then 'Abdullah b. Ubayy b. Salul said: 'Have they done it? If we return to Madinah, the more honorable will surely expel from it the meaner.' 'Umar said: 'Let me, O Messenger of Allah, strike the neck of this hypocrite.' He said: 'Leave him, lest people say that Muhammad kills his companions.'
