وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ:

مَا بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ، وَلَكِنْ بَايَعْنَاهُ عَلَى أَنْ لَا نَفِرَّ غَيْرَ جَدِّ بْنِ قَيْسٍ اخْتَبَأَ فِي إِبْطِ بَعِيرِهِ

Translation

✧ We did not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of God ﷺ at the time of al-Hudaybiyyah upon death, but rather we pledged allegiance to him upon not fleeing—except Jadd b. Qays, who hid under the armpit of his camel.
