وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ، سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
مَنْ خَافَ أَنْ لَا يَسْتَيْقِظَ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيُوتِرْ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ لْيَرْقُدْ، وَمَنْ طَمِعَ أَنْ يَسْتَيْقِظَ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ، فَلْيُوتِرْ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ، فَإِنَّ الْقِرَاءَةَ مَحْضُورَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ، وَذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ
Translation

✧ Whoever fears that he will not wake up at the end of the night, let him perform witr at the beginning of the night and then sleep. And whoever hopes to wake up at the end of the night, let him perform witr at the end of the night, for the Qur’anic recitation at the end of the night is witnessed, and that is better.
