حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، وَعِيسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ
كَانَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ لَا يَرْفَعُ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ

machine translationMy father used to reject the hadith of al-Ḥakam and ʿĪsā, and he would say: it is only the hadith of Yazīd b. Abī Ziyād. Ibn Abī Laylā is poor in memory (sayyiʾ al-ḥifẓ), and Ibn Abī Ziyād is not a retainer (ḥāfiẓ).
