قَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَنَّ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ بُرْقَانَ حَدَّثَهُمْ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، أَنَّ سَالِمَ بْنَ وَابِصَةَ، صَلَّى بِهِمْ بِالرَّقَّةِ وَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ وَابِصَةَ هَذَا، وَقَالَ وَابِصَةُ:
نُشْهِدُ عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَشْهَدَ عَلَيْنَا، فَأَوْعَيْتُمْ وَنَحْنُ نُبَلِّغُكُمْ
