✧ When Ali was killed, Hasan stood up to address the people. A man from the tribe of Azd Ash-Shanu'ah stood up and said, "I bear witness that I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ holding him (Hasan) in his lap and saying, 'Whoever loves me, let him love him and inform the absent ones.' If it were not for the honor of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I would never have mentioned it."
