حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ:

كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ هَاهُنَا مِنْ مَعَدٍّ فَلْيَقُمْ ؟ قَالَ: فَأَخَذْتُ ثَوْبِي لِأَقُومَ، قَالَ: اقْعُدْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ الثَّانِيَةَ، فَقُلْتُ: مِمَّنْ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ حِمْيَرَ

✧ I was sitting with the Messenger of God ﷺ when he said: Let whoever here is from Ma'add stand up. He said: So I took hold of my garment to stand, but he said: Sit down. Then he said it a second time. I said: From whom am I, O Messenger of God? He said: From Himyar.
