✧ It is not lawful for a Muslim to shun another Muslim for more than three days. They both deviate from the truth as long as they are shunning each other. The first of them to return to reconciliation will have his precedence in returning serve as an expiation for him. If one greets the other and he does not accept his greeting, the angels return the greeting to him, and Satan returns it to the other. If they both die while still shunning each other, they will not enter Paradise, or they will not be gathered together in Paradise.
