حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ بَيَانَ بْنِ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي شَهْمٍ، وَكَانَ بَطَّالًا، قَالَ:
مَرَّتْ بِي جَارِيَةٌ فِي بَعْضِ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَأَهْوَيْتُ بِيَدِي إِلَى خَاصِرَتِهَا، فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْغَدُ أَتَى النَّاسُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُبَايِعُونَهُ، وَأَتَيْتُهُ فَبَسَطْتُ يَدِي لِأُبَايِعَهُ، فَقَبَضَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ: أَنْتَ صَاحِبُ الْجُبَيْذَةِ أَمْسِ ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، بَايِعْنِي لَا أَعُودُ أَبَدًا، قَالَ: فَنَعَمْ إِذًا

✧ A slave-girl passed by me on one of the roads of Madinah, and I reached with my hand to her waist. The next day, the people came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pledge allegiance to him, and I came and held out my hand to pledge allegiance to him, but he withdrew his hands and said: "Are you not the one with the little pinch yesterday?" He said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, accept my pledge; I will never return." He said: "Then yes."
