حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَائِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مُتَطَوِّعًا فِي غَيْرِ رَمَضَانَ، بَعُدَ مِنَ النَّارِ مِائَةَ عَامٍ سَيْرَ الْمُضَمَّرِ الْمُجِيدِ

Translation

✧ Whoever fasts a day voluntarily in the path of Allah, outside Ramadan, will be distanced from the Fire by a hundred years' journey of a well-trained, swift horse.
