حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى رَاعٍ فَلْيُنَادِ: يَا رَاعِيَ الْإِبِلِ، ثَلَاثًا، فَإِنْ أَجَابَهُ، وَإِلَّا فَلْيَحْلِبْ فَلْيَشْرَبْ، وَلَا يَحْمِلَنَّ. وَإِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى حَائِطِ بُسْتَانٍ فَلْيُنَادِ ثَلَاثًا: يَا صَاحِبَ الْحَائِطِ، فَإِنْ أَجَابَهُ، وَإِلَّا فَلْيَأْكُلْ وَلَا يَحْمِلْ

Translation

✧ When one of you comes upon a shepherd, let him call out: O camel herder, three times. If he answers him, then (leave him); otherwise let him milk and drink, but let him not carry any away. And when one of you comes upon the wall of a garden, let him call out three times: O owner of the garden. If he answers him, then (leave him); otherwise let him eat but not carry any away.
