✧ A man from the captives, from Tahiyah, called Bayrah b. Asad, came out as an emigrant to Madinah, and the Messenger of God ﷺ had died shortly before that. He said: Umar b. al-Khattab saw Bayrah walking in the streets of Madinah and did not recognize him, so he said: Who are you? He said: I am a man from the people of Oman. He took his hand and went with him to Abu Bakr, and said: O Abu Bakr, this is from the land whose people I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ mention, from the people of Oman. Abu Bakr said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: I know a land whose side the sea splashes, with a tribe of Arabs. If my messenger came to them, they would not shoot him with an arrow or stone.
