حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

" مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ دَعَا اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بِدَعْوَةٍ، إِلَّا اسْتَجَابَ، مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهَا إِثْمٌ أَوْ قَطِيعَةُ رَحِمٍ - إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ بِهَا إِحْدَى خِصَالٍ ثَلَاثٍ: إِمَّا أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ لَهُ دَعْوَتَهُ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ يَدَّخِرَ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ يَدْفَعَ عَنْهُ مِنَ الشَّرِّ مِثْلَهَا ". قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِذًا نُكْثِرُ ؟ قَالَ: " اللهُ أَكْثَرُ

Translation

✧ "There is no Muslim who supplicates to Allah, Blessed and Exalted, with a supplication that contains no sin or severing of kinship, but Allah grants him one of three things: either He hastens his supplication, or He stores it for him in the Hereafter, or He averts from him evil equivalent to it." They said: O Messenger of Allah, then we will increase. He said: "Allah is more."
