حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ شَبَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" إِنَّ أَرْفَعَ النَّاسِ دَرَجَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْإِمَامُ الْعَادِلُ، وَإِنَّ أَوْضَعَ النَّاسِ دَرَجَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْإِمَامُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بِعَادِلٍ

✧ The highest of people in rank on the Day of Resurrection is the just ruler, and the lowest of people in rank on the Day of Resurrection is the ruler who is not just.
