حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رُئِيَ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ وَعَلَى أَرْنَبَتِهِ أَثَرُ طِينٍ مِنْ صَلاَةٍ صَلاَّهَا بِالنَّاسِ

Translation

The mark of earth was seen on the forehead and nose of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who had led the people I prayer. Abu Ali said: Abu Dawud did not recite this tradition when he recited his collection(of sunan) for the fourth time.
